Who are Troops 950g and 950b?
Troops 950g (girls) and 950b (boys) are sibling troops. This means that while they are two separate troops, we have joint meetings, campouts, and pretty much any event. To view our next event head over to the Calendar tab by clicking the three lines in the top left corner of click here. If you have any questions they can be answered by emailing the lead scout/adult for the event. If you are ever in doubt contact PATROL LEADER. If your patrol leader does not know the answer to your question it is their duty to take it up with either SPLS.
Where do we meet?
Normal Meeting Time: 7:30 on Monday at Community Lutheran Church. Address: 21014 Whitfield Pl, Sterling, VA 20165. Please Remember to Check your email for Exact times and dates.
What we did Recently!
We recently did a Search and Rescue outing in West virginia. The scouts learned about the principles of search and rescue, and the scouts rescued the adults. If you would like to Learn more click here.
How to find SOMEONE'S email address
There are many ways to find someone email address here are some examples:
Talk to the person whose email address your trying to find at the end or beginning of a meeting. This may seem like an obvious option but many people go straight to the Scoutmasters or ASMs with questions. This defeats the purpose of a scout-led troop so it is highly encouraged to bring it up with the person directly.
Click on the "Reply" button at the end of emails. This will not include every scout that receives the email but just you and the person your sending it too due to BCC.
Logging in/Signing up for SCOUTBOOK, Scoutbook will be your best friend throughout scouting as your able to message people through scoutbook which will automatically send an email to the receiver.
The SPL and ASPL emails are listed under "PLC CONTACT INFO"
SCOUTS - ALWAYS INCLUDE A SECOND ADULT OR ANOTHER SCOUT WHEN COMMUNICATING WITH AN ADULT; This does not apply to online scout-to-scout conversations and/or online family conversations.
